물의 삼중점(0.01 °C)은 ITS-90에서 가장 중요한 온도 중 하나입니다. 불행하게도 Water cell에서 물의 삼중점을 구현하고 유지하는 것은 항상 용이하거나 저렴하지는 않았습니다.
ITS-90은 물의 삼중점에서의 잦은 측정을 요구하고 물의 삼중점이 온도 표준의 드리프트에 대한 통계적 점검에 사용되기 때문에 잘 만들어진 물의 삼중점 cell을 쉽게 구현하고 유지할 필요가 있습니다.
Fluke Calibration 9210 TPW 유지보수 기구는 5901B 미니 TPW cell의 단순한 supercool-and shake 구현과 유지를 위한 내장 프로그래밍을 제공합니다. 단순히 cell을 삽입하고 전면 패널 버튼을 통해 "freeze" 모드에 진입하고 잠시 기다린 후 9210이 알람음을 낼 때 Mini TPW cell을 제거하고 흔들면 물 일부의 동결을 개시하게 됩니다. cell을 다시 넣고 프로그램 모드를 "maintain"으로 설정하면 남은 하루 동안 0.01°C를 ± 0.005°C의 불확도로 유지하게 됩니다.
고정밀 열 블록을 사용하여 9210의 뛰어난 안정도와 균일성을 이용하여 비교 교정을 할 수 있습니다. 멀티 홀 및 맞춤 블록은 178 mm (7 in)깊이로 제공됩니다.
